About the Artist
Diane Anderson studied painting and drawing throughout her middle school and teen years in Omaha, Nebraska. She won a Scholastic Gold Key Art Award for painting at the age of 16 and went on to study painting and drawing at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, under the tutelage of painter, Peter Hill, and then continued and completed her studies at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, under the direction of regionally renown artists Malcolm Meyers and Lynn Gray, receiving a B.F.A. in studio art and a minor in art history.
Diane spent her formative years in Omaha, NE and has lived in San Francisco, Portland, OR, and Minneapolis. She currently resides in a lakeside village in Québec, Canada with her longtime partner, Peter. She and Peter have had many travel adventures that have served as a creative catalyst for this site.
